Last week, RIA Intel named Diversitas Board Member Carina Diamond as the Industry Advocate of the Year. This award is meant to honor outstanding people advocating for RIAs who are a proponent of the financial services industry.

For those of you that don’t know Carina, she is the Chief Experience Officer at Dakota Wealth Management. She also provides mentoring and leadership to both client advisors at Dakota Wealth and her own clients.

“I wanted to be able to continue to develop a diverse staff, with talent of all different ages, genders, and backgrounds,” she said in an interview with RIA Intel. “That was very important to me, because there is a lack of diversity in our business.”

Before joining Dakota Wealth Management, Carina founded Springside Partners LLC and transitioned her brokerage business to an RIA model.

She is also the founder of Flourish Women and Wealth, a program that has educated more than 1,000 diverse women on personal finance.

Carina is a founding Board Member of Diversitas, and we are incredibly grateful for her expertise and passion for growing diversity in the wealth management industry.
